What if the Pope preached of a three headed Cyclops?

What if the Pope preached of the reality of global warming, taking a political side with the progressives and secularists?

What if the Pope criticized United States Catholic conservatives, Evangelicals, and patriotic traditionalists, for wanting stricter immigration laws and a border wall–even after witnessing the European collapse of law and order in the face of rampant Islamic terrorism associated with unbridled immigration?

What if the Pope wrote a letter to South American bishops endorsing the Eucharist for divorced and remarried Catholics?

What if the Pope spoke of Vatican renewal, and a strong house cleaning, all the while appointing Cardinals and assistants with strongly progressive anti-Catholic Traditional views?

What if the Pope used St. Peters square to display a tasteless visual art display of nature, to include monkeys, shined on the Vatican walls?

What if the Pope opposed the American Presidential candidate that was Pro-Life, in effect aiding the Pro-Choice Hillary?

What if the Pope wrote an Encyclical which had a dubious chapter endorsing a reward for adultery in the Eucharist?

What if the Pope demoted noted conservative Cardinals, replacing them with notorious liberals?

What if all of the above was true?

It wouldn’t rock my faith, nor should it rock yours! Christ’s promise that the gates of hell would not prevail against the Church includes dopey Pope’s speaking out of turn…after all, Francis isn’t the first flawed Pontiff. Secondly, papal infallibility has only to do with faith and morals; therefore,  global warming and politics and science and crayon coloring are only opinions from the Pope, kind of like our opinions, one in a billion.

What is disconcerting, however, is his push for the Eucharist for the divorced and remarried. So far, it is only hot progressive air. Francis cannot change dogma and doctrine concerning the Eucharist, marriage, and divorce–coming from Jesus’ mouth as witnessed in the gospels–coming from centuries of Catholic Theological Tradition faithful to words of Jesus as pondered by saints, Doctors, and Church Fathers.

So, if the Pope preaches of a three headed Cyclops, relax, pray for his mental health, and hope in Christ that the Church will continue faithfully as his Mystical Body.

I am a graduate of Ave Maria University--the Institute for Pastoral Theology (IPT), with a Master of Theological Studies degree (MTS). I love Theology. I love the Church. I love the Sacraments, particularly the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the Most Blessed Sacrament--the Eucharist. I love them most because they bring me closer to the Mercy of Jesus. I also love His Truth...found in His Church's Teaching and in Sacred Scripture. I hope to share this Treasure Chest of Wisdom, and learn from the people of God I encounter in this blog. For in each of us is the Holy Spirit of God, and each of us brings Jesus to each other in our shared faith, hope, and charity.
